On October 10, Variety’s seventh installment of their annual Variety’s Power of Women luncheon was held in Los Angeles and presented by Lifetime.
A select group of Hollywood’s most influential and philanthropic women were named Variety’s “Lifetime Impact Honorees.” These women were recognized for making a major impact on society through their humanitarian efforts. This year’s honorees featured Tony Award winning and Academy Award as well as Global Globe nominated actress Viola Davis (for her work on behalf of Hunger Is), as well as Academy Award winning actress Jane Fonda (Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential). Other honorees included Universal Pictured Chairman Donna Langley (Vital Voices), Golden Globe and Grammy Award nominee Jennifer Lopez (The Lopez Family Foundation), and Academy Award and Golden Globe winning actress Reese Witherspoon (Malala Fund).
