Break the internet. According to Paper Magazine‘s mission statement concerning their new issue, that’s exactly what they set out to do with their latest cover: the ever part-of-everyone’s-conversation-even-and-especially-if-you-have-no-idea-why-she’s-famous, Kim Kardashian.

For our winter issue, we gave ourselves one assignment: Break The Internet. There is no other person that we can think of who is up to the task than one Kim Kardashian West. A pop culture fascination able to generate headlines just by leaving her house, Kim is what makes the web tick. We tapped legendary French photographer Jean-Paul Goude to recreate his iconic “Champagne Incident” shot and all we can say about the images inside, which we’ll be releasing on Thursday, is…holy fucking shit. This issue has got so much more in store so be sure to check back next week.

Just like that, Kim has set the internet on fire, which she does every time she wakes up in the morning. From her relationship to Kanye, to the way North West dresses, Kim Kardashian is literally a case study for every pop culture commentator alive, and Paper Magazine, to an extent, just makes everyone’s job easier–Kim’s included. By the way, in case you think we have no idea what the word “nude” means, the cover pictured below is merely the PG-13 version of Kim’s latest newsstand exhibition. For the get-right-down-to-business cover, you can click here and check it out at Paper‘s homestead.

UPDATE: As they always do, Baller Alert went lurking in Kim’s Instagram comments, and found Naya Rivera expressing her dismay at the cover. If we’re talking morality however, Naya, splitting with Big Sean and getting married to your co-star a mere 3 months later isn’t exactly everyone’s idea of a squeaky clean image now, is it.
