Every so often, you’ll hear about a singer featured on those really great Hip-Hop songs by those really great Hip-Hop artists. Then of those singers, some will blossom into their own and release a free EP for the world. Nikki Jean is one of those singers. You may recognize her voice from Lupe Fiasco’s “Little Weapon” or more recently Ab-Soul’s “World Runners.”
She just dropped a six track EP that has an impressive feature well, including Donnie Trumpet and Peter Cottontale (Chance’s Social Experiment), as well as Ab-Soul. It’s a comprehensive yet succinct taste of how much Nikki has developed. If R&B is good for the soul, this EP is good for your soul, in the afterlife.
You can download the EP HERE for the low low price of your email.

Bryan Hahn still thinks it’s crazy that Nikki has worked with Bob Dylan already. He’s on Twitter (@notupstate).
