“Exhibition On Screen” Brings Five Groundbreaking Exhibitions to Theaters

Have you ever wanted to see some of the world’s most renowned art work without having to travel or deal with crowds of tourists? Next year you’ll be able to.

Fathom Events, in association with Arts Alliance and Seventh Art Productions presents “Exhibition on Screen,” which presents a collection of the most prestigious exhibitions from all around the world. The first film, “Matisse from MoMA and Tate Modern” premieres on 300 screens nationally Jan 13 and features the exhibition “Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs.” The film takes the audience on a guided tour through these centuries-old artist relics. The film will be screened in 300 theaters acrosss the nation and features exclusive content unavailable in the live exhibitions. “Exhibition on Screen” will give viewers an insight into exclusive interviews with art experts and historical figures to reveal behind-scene-glimpses and biographical details pertaining to these notable exhibitions. The series includes “Matisse from MoMA and Tate Modern,” “Rembrandt from the National Gallery London & Rijksmuseum  Amsterdam,” coming February 24, 2015, “Vincent Van Gogh- A New of Seeing from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam” available  April 14, 2015, “Girl With a Pearl Earring and Other Treasures from the Mauritshuis in the Hague,” coming June 23 and finally “The Impressionist from the Musée de Luxembourg, Paris, National Gallery London, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art” releasing July 14, 2015.

“Rembrandt from the National Gallery London & Rijksmuseum Amsterdam”  focuses on the artist many consider to be one of the greatest painters of all time, and the work he created in his final years.“Vincent van Gogh – A New Way of Seeing from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam”  presents a re-showing of the gallery’s collection in commemoration of the 125 anniversary of Vincent van Gogh’s death. Curators and historians will offer their interpretations and explanations of his work. “Girl with a Pearl Earring and Other Treasures from the Mauritshuis in the Hague”  addresses unresolved riddles surrounding the painting and its creator. “The Impressionists from the Musée de Luxembourg Paris, National Gallery London, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art” depicts the works of  Monet, Cézanne, Degas and Renoir  and focuses on the genius of Impressionism: 19th century Parisian art dealer and collector Paul Durand-Ruel who has been credited with introducing the Impressionists to American audiences. This final film tells his unbelievable story along with that of the Impressionists themselves.
