Living up to your name, huh Joey
Joey Bada$$‘ proper debut album, B4.DA.$$–it’s the personal opinion of this writer that the title is among the most creative Hip-Hop has seen in quite some time–is due out later this month on January 20, but today, he’s gracing headlines for a different reason. According to reports, shortly before getting on stage in Australia, where he was headlining the Falls Festival, Bada$$ was approached by a security guard requesting to see his credentials.
Police are saying Joey then punched the security guard in the face, and the blow broke his nose. Bada$$ was allowed to perform despite the incident, but following the show he was arrested and charged with assault. He was granted bail, and is due in court to face the charge on March 19.
