With the growing popularity of the hit single “Uptown Funk” fans have been eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated “Uptown Special”.
With “Uptown Funk” at number 5 on the Billboard HOT 100 list, Mark Ronson could not have picked a better time to drop his new album. Ronson is scheduled to release “Uptown Special” today through RCA Records. The album was written and produced by Grammy winner Jeff Bhasker. The album as a whole is inspired by Ronson’s musical beginnings and his youth in New York City during the early 90s. The sounds found on the album are a blend of hip-hop, funk, soul and R&B.
