Walt Disney Animation Studios and directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee have officially announced that Frozen 2 is in development.
During Disney’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders it was announced by the Chairman and CEO of Walt Disney, Bob Iger, and the voice of Olaf, Josh Gad, that there will be a sequel to the popular Frozen film. John Lasseter said, “We enjoyed making Frozen Fever so much and being back in that world with those characters [and] Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we’re taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that.” A release date has yet to be announced but the sequel to the Oscar winning Frozen will likely be a hit.
