ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks in the Tunisia museum, Bardo that killed 23 people. According to CNN, in the audio statement that was released, Abu Zakariya al-Tunisi and Abu Anas Al- Tunisi were the two who carried out the terror attacks at the Bardo. After the attack at the Bardo, there were rumors that the “franchise” of ISIS was responsible for the attacks. They also continued that it was ” just the start”. Before the audio was released, Tunisian authorities arrested nine people for the attacks. Four were connected directly to the attack.
The victims of the attacks are believed to be from different backgrounds. According to sources, the victims were a Spanish married couple, a Colombian mother and son, three Italians, three Japanese, Two Poles, a Belgian, and a Briton. There were also three Tunisians that includes a security guard, and a job applicant. 36 were hospitalized.
