The grass isn’t always greener on the other side
Last year, news reporter Charlo Greene made national headlines when, while reporting on a story regarding the potential legalization of marijuana on live television, she admitted to being the owner of a cannabis club, and quit. In fact, her exact, elaborate resignation statement was:
F*ck it, I quit.
She became such a sensation, she was interviewed on Huffington Post Live, where she–not surprisingly–smoked herself a doobie while she answered several questions about her newfound internet stardom.
Unfortunately, the good times came to a temporary halt. On Friday, police raided her cannabis club in Alaska, where marijuana has been legalized, but its sale is still illegal. However, according to a statement made by Greene acquired by AP, her club was back up and running 24 hours later.
You go, Charlo.
