The terrible trend of teenagers being involved in massive fights continues
First Brooklyn, then Memphis, now Philadelphia. The NY Daily News has released footage of teenagers fighting on a SEPTA platform. The brawl, which was recorded by surveillance cameras, shows teens viciously fighting two students, resulting in one of the victims falling onto the subway tracks. You can watch the full video here.
The craziest part? He somehow crawled up from off the tracks, and reengages with the assailants. Nobody reported the fight.
There are conflicting reports on how the fight started, but it is believed to be over a girl. After the fight, the assailants and the victims scramble into a train before SEPTA police arrive to break up the fight. Southern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority Police Chief Thomas J. Nestel III spoke about the brawl.
It’s an outrageous event. This is so dangerous, it’s not even funny. We have operating trains down there. There are passengers waiting for the train … it’s horrendous.
The victims have been identified, but their names have not been released. The assailants are still being sought, but are believed to be from the same high school as the victims. When identified, the assailants could face suspension, expulsion and more severe legal punishments.
What is going on with the teenagers today?
