According to NOLA.com John Calipari is interested in coming back to the NBA to help coach two of his former players in Anthony Davis and Tyreke Evans in New Orleans. Cailpari has been down the road before with the NBA as being the head coach for the New Jersey Nets, before building up the great teams in Kentucky. Though it would make sense for Calipari to coach the team, it seems that he is happy where he is.

Calipari had recently just signed an extension with the Kentucky Wildcats just a few weeks ago. But he wouldn’t be the first college coach to leave a team after signing an extension. More to come from this story as the season progresses.
