Summer’s end for Travis’ debut
Since his latest mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, dropped out of the sky last August, the hype has been real, and relentless, for Travis Scott‘s debut album, Rodeo. This year, he’s done nothing to quell it, dropping new records, performing at the BET Awards, and embarking on a tour with Young Thug and Metro Boomin that became notorious for being a party you have to survive, not just enjoy.
Last night, at a surprise performance in New York City, Scott finally announced the official release date for Rodeo: September 4. Despite rumors that the album would drop this week, we’ll have to wait another month-and-change for Scott’s major label debut.
