Remember Me? "Little Charles" From Hurricane Katrina Has Grown Up…and Changed

Ten years after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the city of New Orleans, many people wondered what happened to the people who were interviewed in its aftermath. A little boy known as “Little Charles” was one of the faces many people remembered.

Charles Evans, in the above clip, spoke to reporters about what was really going on after Katrina destroyed his city, and as people continue to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, many people want to know what happened to Charles Evans?

Well, Charles is not Charles anymore. Charles is Adriana Evans. Adriana is now 19-years old, and a certified nursing assistant. In an interview with NBC News, Adriana said she’d wanted to become a woman since high school and began taking hormones in May.

  1. I find it interesting that this kid named himself after perhaps the greatest singer of this generation
Adriana Evans. And your magazine conveniently omitted that fact. Oh… is it perhaps because you lied &
trashed her incredible debut album back in ’97? I stopped reading you at that point because that action
let me know that you have no credibility in anything. You’re a sham & you don’t love hip hop. You pimp it.
    So play on player.
