Rick Polo, originally from New Orleans, now residing in South Florida, is an entrepreneur, artist, and producer. After beating a minimum mandatory life sentence and spending over 7200 hours in solitary confinement, he decided to re-ignite his passion for music.
“Losing everybody and everything made me hungrier, a critical thinker. No great story goes straight to the happy ending. Getting there is a process to be appreciated, and I have always accepted the good with the bad,” he says.
Since his immersion in music this year, he’s already been making waves with his newest single “Swerve,” which boasts over 300k plays on Soundcloud. The multi-talented producer produces all of his music himself, and “Swerve” was no exception. “Swerve” is the all too familiar tale of Rick cheating on his ex and blaming it on the alcohol.
