Last month, Snoop Dogg‘s son, Cordell Broadus, abruptly quit the Divisoin I UCLA Bruins football team, a move that shocked many, especially recruiters, who have consistently said that the spotlight wasn’t just on him because he’s the son of a famous rapper–Broadus has talent.
However, in an Instagram post last night, Broadus revealed that despite the fact that he happens to be good, his heart was never in football. He only played because “I thought that was the only way he would love me & be apart of my life,” he being his father, Snoop Dogg. It’s unfortunate that Cordell didn’t figure this out before, but what matters is that he knows it now.
