Master P Says He Beat Michael Jordan In A Pickup Game

Jack Thriller and the good folks over at ThisIs50 recently took a to trip to Master P‘s No Limit offices to conduct an interview and the Hip-Hop mogul was very candid and expressive. One of the points that stood out was one involving Michael Jordan. P recalled an instance where he took a flight to Jordan’s basketball camp that his son Romeo Miller was attending in order to confront the basketball legend. Apparently Jordan had been hassling Romeo for wearing his fathers signature line of sneakers even though all attendees of the camp were mandated to wear Jordan brand kicks.

Master P says that he challenged Jordan to a pick up game to settle the score. Future NBA stars Gilbert Arenas and Ron Artest, who were in college at the time were also in attendance. P’s team squared off against Jordan’s team and took home the victory.

It must be noted that Master P did have a brief stint playing in the NBA, in two preseasons. Once for the Charlotte Hornets during the 1998-1999 season and then 1999-2000 season for the Toronto Raptors.
