Fetty Wap had a stellar year in 2015, capturing the attention of the mainstream media via his breakthrough single “Trap Queen.” He followed that up with a slew of hit records, all which helped him achieve a milestone as the only rapper in history to have 4 singles in the Top 10 of the Billboard charts. Zoovier soon followed that up with the release of his self-titled debut album which also hit number 1 on the charts.
Today though, Fetty can add another notch to his belt as it has been revealed that he inked a publishing deal with Sony/ATV.
Sony/ATV CEO Martin Bandier
It is always refreshing when a new artist comes on the scene with a bunch of hits like Fetty Wap has, so we are thrilled that he has now decided to become part of the Sony/ATV family. With a talent like his, there is no doubt he is both the man for today as well as tomorrow.
The new deal will also include his previous singles and debut album. According to Billboard, Fetty sold 4.7 Million singles this year.
