Can we get at least get the name of the dance right?
Cris Carter filled in as a co-host on ESPN’s Mike&Mike and tried his best to explained the origin of Cam Newton’s “Dab” dance.
The Hall of Fame wide receiver tried to explain to host Mike ‘Greeny’ Greenberg exactly how to do the dance. The only probably was that Carter called it “bapping.”

“You put your face in here and that’s called ‘bapping,'” Carter said. “Kendrick Lamar, lot of other people…Drake…everyone has been doing it…so [Newton] was waving on him and then he bapped on him.”
Sigh. Mr. Carter, it’s important that you get it right because the internet is always watching.
Hey Cris Carter, you’ve got it all wrong. “Bapping” is when you break wind while napping.
