Much to the delight of amateur and seasoned producers everywhere, infamous ghost producer Maarten Vorwerk has compiled his Tip Of The Week series into a 105-page guide book.
“So almost two years and 100+ pages further, we have created a great bundle full of production and mixing tips,” Vorwerk shared on his Facebook. “I’ve put them all together in one book, so you will have a great reference for in your studio. So download and print it and put it under your Christmas tree as a present from me to you.”
Vorwerk, currently based in Aruba, has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Usher, Sean Paul, Will.I.Am and Major Lazor, to name a few, and has had numerous chart toppers over the years, on Beatport and iTunes, throughout his 400-plus track discography.
The guide breaks it down simply, perhaps because Vorwerk is not native to the English language, but more importantly focuses on EQ’ing, panning, how to get a proper kick, compression and other general topics and issues producers handle and work through daily.
