For months, Lil Durk and DeJ Loaf have teased at the video for their lovey-dovey duet, “My Beyonce,” but it’s finally arrived to help kick off the new year.
The video finds Durk and DeJ as close as we’ve ever seen them, borrowing scenes from the Omar Epps and Sanaa Lathan classic, Love & Basketball, to show off their newfound romance and dabbling heavily in the softer side of their demeanors, considering Lil Durk is known for being a standout of Chicago’s oft-violent drill movement and Loaf’s rise to prominence came on the shoulders of a song in which she threatened to “get the whole motherf*ckin family” of someone who tried her. It’s a refreshing supplement to both of their respective primary lanes, and is an easily lovable video. Watch it above.
