Why do these things always seem to happen to Brandon Knight?
The former Kentucky standout is a good player, one of the few bright spots on a Phoenix Suns team spiraling out of control, but he always ends up on the bad end of great offensive plays by other guys. Like that time he got dunked on so hard by DeAndre Jordan, someone changed his “death” date on Wikipedia to reflect the night of that play.
We digress.
Paul George is having a career year in Indiana, and he reminded the Suns’ point guard of it last night when he executed a beautiful spin move at the top of the key, leaving Brandon Knight grasping for air in his past, causing the poor guy to hit the deck pretty hard. The Pacers went on to win the game, and George has them right in the thick of things in the Eastern Conference playoff race, as Indiana currently sits 5th in the standings. The Suns on the other hand currently have the 3rd worst record in the Western Conference, and this is another blemish on what’s been a horrific 2015-2016 campaign.
