On Monday, Rihanna finally unveiled her new video for “Work,” the lead single of her platinum ANTI album, which was release towards the end of last month. The song, which also features Drake, shot up to the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 last week, and RihDrizzy performed the song live on stage at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday. Needless to say, “Work,” is one of the hottest song in the world right now.
One of the locations Rihanna, Drake and Director X used to shoot the video is seeing that sentiment reflected in their sales numbers. According to TMZ, sales at Toronto’s The Real Jerk are up 20%, as people flock to the site of the “Work” reggae party. The store’s owner, Lili Pottinger, mentioned that because Drake is a regular at the spot, fans have been coming by hoping to get a glimpse of the dancing rapper.
He’ll probably wait for the fanfare to die down before visiting again, but we know the guys at The Real Jerk aren’t saying anything.
