According to reports circulating around the web, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill may have put their year long romance on ice. The couple, who have been going strong since early 2015, may have hit a rough patch due to Mill’s various legal problems.
Mill, found guilty of parole violation back in December 2015, was recently sentenced to begin house arrest in Philadelphia for a minimum of three months, which will begin March 1. Sources are now suggesting this may be a point of contention for the couple.
Early this morning [Saturday, February 27], TMZ hinted at trouble brewing between Minaj and Mill stemming from his impending house arrest. Reportedly Mill is wanting his lady by his side in Philly while he finishes up his legal obligations, despite Minaj allegedly not feeling the idea as she does not want to put her own career on hold because of his mistakes. Due to this, they’ve supposedly had a big blow out. Currently Mill is in Philly while Minaj is in L.A.
Although the two have yet to come out and confirm or deny any news at this point, neither one of them has posted on each other via social media in weeks. Which is pretty rare as Mill has always been quite proud and vocal when it comes to bigging up his lady, who just picked up her 23rd Top 20 hit on Billboard with Yo Gotti’s “Down in the DM” remix.
