Eminem is turning back the clock. While fans continue to await an official announcement regarding his projected ninth solo album, the iconic Detroit rapper has revealed plans to re-release 1999’s The Slim Shady LP on cassette – nearly two decades after the project was initially made available for purchase.
The quantity of expected re-issues remains uncertain at this point, but with tape players almost obsolete in this day and age, one can certainly presume that the cassettes will be treated primarily as collectors’ items.
