In 1993, Brooklyn trio Digable Planets had a huge hit with “Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)” off their seminal album, Reachin’ (A New Refutation of Time and Space), solidifying their place in Hip Hop history. It was rumored their 2015 New Year’s Eve show in Seattle was the last time Ladybug Mecca, Doodlebug and Butterfly would play together live, but, fortunately, that’s not the case.

The trio has just announced a full reunion tour this summer, beginning at Sasquatch Music Festival on May 28th. Digable Planets also plan on hitting many stops on festival circuit along the way, including the Essence Festival in New Orleans and Pitchfork Festival in Chicago. Hopefully, more dates will be added as the tour continues to take shape.
