Regarded as the greatest hockey player to ever live, Wayne Gretzky has many nicknames to coincide with his exceptional play. “The Great One,” “Jordan In Skates,” but last night he caught a major L on live television when his wife left him hanging as he went in for a kiss. Gretzky and his wife Janet were attending the Philadelphia Flyers-Washington Capitals NHL playoff game when the cameras zoomed in on the couple. Presumably taking notice of this, Wayne leaned in a for smooch and sat there in a hilariously awkward pose as wifey left him hanging. The nervous laughter was the icing on the cake. Tough break Gretzky, next time.
