Beyonce’s Visual Album ‘Lemonade’ Expected to Be Available on iTunes Update

Beyoncé has shaken things up with the HBO special release of her visual album, Lemonade. Rumors have been circulating regarding the content of the short film and the truth behind it, however, without question the visual presentation is a powerful ode showcasing the beauty of black women.

Following the HBO special, Lemonade, the visual album, along with 13 tracks, were available exclusively on Tidal.

The exclusivity of Beyoncé’s latest album appeared to be brief as The New York Times reported the album is expected to be released for sale on iTunes at Midnight. However, according to a Tidal spokesperson, “Tidal will continue to be the only platform where users can stream Lemonade idefintely. Subscribers and anyone else who wants to download the album now can do so at Beyonce.Tidal.com.”

While Beyoncé is a part owner of Tidal, the original limited release happened to be a big win for the streaming service. According to The New York Times, the superstar faced a strong incentive to release the album exclusively through the service to not only draw attention to the outlet, but also attract subscribers to it.
