The wait is over. Views is here.
The last time Drake had a proper studio album in stores, it was September 2013. He’d just launched his OVO Sound label, he didn’t have a merch line, he wasn’t comparing himself to Jay Z just yet, and he certainly hadn’t powered through the most high profile rapper beef in years.
Things are different now. He lays claim to being the undisputed biggest rapper in the world, and his output in several different lanes–Apple Music, merchandise, Jordan deal, OVO Sound, the NBA–supports that claim, and Views is the album he’s hoping will be his signature project. The release that happened when everything else happening in his career hit a peak that can’t–and won’t–be re-achieved.
Will it be? You can now find out. Drake has just released Views–formerly Views From the 6–onto Apple Music for streaming, which you can check out here. Allow the tracklist below to aid your listening experience.
Though features aren’t explicitly stated below, Drizzy revealed on his Instagram that Future, Pimp C, DVSN, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Rihanna, WizKid and Popcaan are the only artists featured on the album. It looks like the solo version of “Pop Style” is the one that made the final views cut.
Drake also updated the tracklist with the production credits, which you can check out below.
