Draymond Green Says the Blazers Are “Done”

Last night, Stephen Curry made his return to the playoffs, and played like a pretty good point guard during the game’s 4 quarters, hitting from long distance, setting up his teammates, and doing his best to contain a determined Damian Lillard during a crucial Game 4 contest.

What more could Golden State ask for, right? After all, Curry had just returned from two injuries, a sprained ankle and a sprained knee, and it’s hard enough to get going the first game back from injury during the regular season, but having to deal with Damian Lillard on two ends of the floor was surely enough of a daunting task for the two-time MVP.

Try again.

In the overtime, Curry took off his human cloak, and reverted back to Terminator mode. he scored 17 points in the extra period, burying the Blazers (and likely their season) just a night before he would be confirmed as the first-ever unanimous MVP the NBA has ever seen.

Curry’s performance made a prophet out of his All-Star teammate Draymond Green, who promised a Warriors Game 4 victory after the Blazers beat them decisively in Game 3 in Portland. It also gave Green a bit more fuel to talk his postgame sh*t, which he didn’t hesitate to do last night.

According to ESPN writer Ethan Strauss, Green had one thing to say about the Blazers, and he didn’t approach his comment on a game-by-game basis. According to Draymond, this series is over.

If Curry plays even one-half of Game 5 the way he played in overtime last night, Green isn’t telling a single lie.
