Tonight [Monday, June 13] the Golden State Warriors are preparing for crucial Game 5 of this NBA Finals series and the “7th Man” getting them game ready is none other than their official team DJ, DJ D-Sharp.
These two videos gives a first hand look on how special D-Sharp is to the team and their adoring crowd, plus a brief look on what the mixmaster’s typical day is currently like.
D-Sharp is originally from Oakland, California and has been spinning tracks since the 90s. He’s been on tour with acts like Kelly Rowland and Lauryn Hill and has rocked stages with heavy hitters JAY Z, Kanye West and Snoop Dogg. His main priority nowadays is being the man to have the Warriors continuously raise the bar by playing the hottest tracks to get them focused.
According to D-Sharp, Stephen Curry currently enjoys “Anything” by Lecrae and D.R.A.M.‘s “Cha Cha”, Klay Thompson requests Young Thug ft. Yo Gotti “Pull Up On A Kid” and Harrison Barnes (who’s also a fan of Yo Gotti) wants to hear the track titled “Anything.” Andre Iguodala gets pumped when he hears Kendrick Lamar‘s “King Kunta”, and Draymond Green‘s favorite is Drake‘s “Summer Sixteen.”
Here’s a list of D-Sharp’s favorite songs he spins to hype up the team and fans.
