Well that didn’t take long.
Nick Young‘s season has been over since March and his engagement was recently canceled, which means it’s safe to say he’s probably got significantly more time on his hands these days than he usually does. So it should come as a surprise to no one that he’s already seen D’Angelo Russell‘s hilarious Foot Locker commercial, in which the Lakers rookie pokes fun at that time he secretly recorded Nick Young admitting to cheating on his ex-fiance, Iggy Azalea.
The most awkward part about all of this, is the fact that just before Game 7 of the NBA Finals on Sunday, both Iggy and Nick announced that they were breaking up, and images have surfaced today of Nick Young’s belongings on the ground outside of Azalea’s house.
So, for that Foot Locker commercial to come out today is an example of horrific timing, at least where Young and Azalea are concerned. As expected, Young found very little humor in Russell’s little phone-throwing stunt from the promo spot.
