Rihanna And Drake Pay Respects To Fan Who Lost Battle With Cancer

Music giants rapper Drake and songstress Rihanna come together for more than just musical duos and flirtatious teasing.

Sharing a mutual fan in Megan Flores, affectionately referred to as OVO Megan, the musicians expressed their condolences to the cancer patient who recently lost her battle to the disease. Passing away this past Sunday [July 10], Drizzy and Riri took their memories of the dedicated fan to social media to honor her memory.

Rest in peace my angel. I know heaven is celebrating today. Thank you for the moments and emotions we share I am blessed to have known you in this lifetime. @ovomegann ??

Back in March, the Canadian rapper first met Flores when he visited her in Miami. In association with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the meeting came to be at the young fan’s request. According to Billboard, Flores wanted to meet Drake because he was “her favorite singer and she has listened to his music throughout her diagnosis and treatment.”

Touched by Flores, Drake went as far as dedicating VIEWS to the fan who lovingly referred to him as the LOML (Love Of My Life): “This body of work is dedicated to Megan Flores. I pray for your wellbeing every day.”
