Drake Returns To Number One After Being Bumped Off By Blink 182

After a broken nine-week run, rapper Drake is back on top of the Billboard charts.

With 92,000 equivalent album units, Views has landed back into its well-known number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Returning the favor to Blink 182, Views pushed the band’s new album back to the number three spot.

While his reign may not be consecutive, the amount of times the 6 God makes number one is actually what counts. In other words, Drake is still in the running to break more records with Views. In fact, Drizzy’s latest body of work is only the 10th album to remain at number one in the past 20 years.

Backed by its popularity on streaming platforms, Views is the highest selling album released in 2016 so far. With 1.34 million units sold, it comes second only to Adele’s album 25 as the best selling album of the  year.
