DJ Khaled’s new album, Major Key, will be out on July 29, meaning the next 7 days will be a big week for Hip Hop’s favorite motivational Snapchatter. He’s already had a big summer, thanks to the early success of Major Key’s first two singles, “For Free” with Drake and “I Got the Keys” with Jay Z and Future, and his gig as the opening act for Beyonce’s Formation World Tour was one for the ages.
That said, Khaled’s going to keep the hits coming. Last night on his We The Best radio show on Beats1, the Miami DJ unleashed the album’s third single, “Holy Key,” featuring Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar and Betty White. Upon announcing the single earlir this week, Khaled immediately had fans thinking back to 2013, when Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar last hooked up for a summer banger–”Control”–that turned the game on its ear. Kendrick strayed from the roll call this time around, opting instead to join forces with Big Sean in lyrical exercise.
