YG‘s “FDT” has been one of rap’s many highlights this year, as the outspoken Compton rapper made sure to make his political views known ahead of the release of his Still Brazy album. Since then, he’s expounded on that statement with “FDT Part II,” featuring G-Eazy and Macklemore, another apparent statement on the idea that the opposition to Trump shouldn’t be looked at solely from a racial standpoint.
That said, tonight, Barack Obama will take the stage at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia to speak on behalf of Hillary Clinton, the first woman in American history to earn the sole Presidential nomination of a major political party. Obama will delicately shoot at Trump’s campaign policies, much like his wife Michelle did two nights ago, in an effort to ensure that Hillary gets the necessary convention bump she needs to regain her edge in the national polls.
