The Ocean’s Eleven franchise is getting an all-female spin-off. Deadline reported Rihanna has joined the cast of the reboot Ocean’s Eight alongside Anne Hathaway, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling Join, Sandra Bullock, and Cate Blanchett.
The original Ocean’s Eleven made its debut in the 1960s and went on to get three installments after its revival in 2001. George Clooney and Brad Pitt were the leads of each film. We’re still unsure of Rihanna’s role in the film, but this is another high profile movie RiRi has under her belt.
She landed the iconic role of Marion Crane in Bates Motel and is also set to star in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which is scheduled for release next summer.
