Donald Glover’s “Atlanta” Was Renewed For Another Season

After only three episodes, FX ordered a second season of Donald Glover’s Atlanta.

The critically acclaimed comedy series drew three million viewers for its premiere. The show is centered on a young, upcoming rapper torn between real life and street life. If you enjoyed the film ATL starring rapper T.I, you might like this show to see how different the perspectives of life are in the same city.

FX Presidents of Original Programming Nick Grad and Eric Schrier told Complex:

It’s really gratifying to launch two new comedies that have received overwhelming critical acclaim right out of the gate and that are emblematic of FX’s award-winning brand. It is clear to us that ‘Atlanta’ [has] struck a nerve with viewers, which is a credit to Donald Glover’s vision.
