Future, Jeezy and 2 Chainz among other rappers, donated to the United Negro Fund at the 33rd Annual UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball Atlanta
The past Saturday, Future, Jeezy and other celebrities each gave $25,000 at the masked ball. The 33rd Annual United Negro College Fund Mayor’s Masked Ball Atlanta supports the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and its mission of investing in the future for youth by helping them through college.
Tyrese and Usher were also in attendance. Representatives of Tyrese said the artist also donated $25,000 to the UNFC. Usher has been involved with the UNFC, providing a $100,000 scholarship for college-bound students. Both Future and 2 Chainz have also been involved in the local community, Future through his FreeWishes Foundation and Chainz through his T.R.U. Foundation that recently saw the proceeds from a $90,000 ugly sweater. The event took place at the Atrium Ballroom at Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Take a look at some photos of the event below.
Proud to be part of a family and an organization that believes in making dreams come alive and wishes come true. Last night, at the ##UNCFMayorsMaskedBall, @future and @freewishesfoundation donated $25K to the UNCF, because we believe that a mind is indeed a terrible thing to waste. ✨
