Saturday night Funkmaster Flex had what he called an exclusive in the form of a new Fugees track.
Sure enough, he dropped off the cut on his Hot 97 set later on in the evening. But, it turns out the track was actually an old song that was brewing in the rap group’s archives for some time.
At first, Lauryn Hill posted a brief note on social media, her dissent for what described as a leak.

Next up was fellow member Wyclef Jean who expressed that he did not “endorse” the track and “had no clue it was coming.”
To all my fugees fans, the song leaked today is a old one from past studio days.I don't endorse it in anyway and had no clue it was coming.

Both musicians did confirm that the track was, indeed, an oldie from past days spent in the studio.
Currently, the only audio available is a rip of Funkmaster Flex’s initial broadcast, ad-libs and all.
