The late and great artist Jean-Michel Basquiat is the current focus of London’s Barbican Art Gallery at an exhibition titled “Boom for Real”. The street artist is making headlines now due to his rare painting titled Cabra set to sell for an impressive $12 million USD. Being sold by the renowned creative Yoko Ono, the piece is being auctioned off at Sotheby’s upcoming contemporary art auction in NYC. The artwork features the artist’s signature skeleton with a set of elongated horns.

“I have had the pleasure of owning and living with this masterwork for over two decades,” Ono said in a statement. “The time has come for it to find a new home.” The painting is right now on display at Sotheby’s Hong Kong location until October 2 with a presentation in London being held from October 6-8. The Sotheby’s NYC auction will occur on November 3.
