Chance the Rapper was the recipient of three coveted Grammy awards at the ceremony back in February, but today he received the physical award statutes, eight months later. Chano shared an unboxing video via Twitter showcasing what it’s like to open up this highly lauded and personalized item.
Unpacking his awards for Best Rap Performance for “No Problems”, Best Rap album and Best New Artist, Chance did so with his daughter at his side. “I got my Grammys in the mail. Thank you everyone who made this music with me, especially this girl right here,” Chance wrote in a tweet.
This particular Grammy win holds significance due to the fact that Chance’s album Coloring Book never sold any physical copies instead being made available only on streaming platforms.
