Christina Aguilera was the singer chosen to honor the late and great Whitney Houston at the American Music Awards Sunday night.
She sung a medley of The Bodyguard movie soundtracks ahead of the eve of the 25th anniversary of the classic film. Christina sung “I Will Always Love You,” “I Have Nothing,” “Run To You,” and “I’m Every Woman”. The top half of the performance did have its share of flat notes, but she ended off strong with “I’m Every Woman” as she was joined by a choir.
You can always depend on the Internet to roast you if you do something unfavorable.

Meanwhile, others praised Christina for her amazing voice even if she didn’t sing the song the way it’s traditionally sung.
