Philadelphia’s Lil Uzi Vert is set to embark on half a dozen show dates across New York, San Francisco, LA, Las Vegas and then Hollywood before heading abroad to tour New Zealand and Australia for the first time ever next month – with some shows already sold out.
Lil Uzi Vert has released three EPs, four mixtapes and his #1 charting debut studio album Luv Is Rage 2 on Atlantic Records in August last year featuring Pharrell Williams, The Weeknd, DJ Drama and Metro Boomin. The Gold-selling, 16-track album, featured the highly successful singles “XO Tour Llif3” and “The Way Life Goes,” with the latter spawning an additional remix version with Nicki Minaj.
Lil Uzi Vert’s career was given an extra boost with his appearance on the Migos #1 charting, 5x Platinum-selling single hit “Bad and Boujee “produced by Metro Boomin and G Koop, released in October 2016. The award-winning young rapper is currently nominated for two Grammy Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards for this song, as well as for Best New Artist in both. With strong international sales home and away, expect to see an even more international Lil Uzi Vert throughout 2018 – especially if he can replicate his success seen with the Migos.
