Years before anyone knew what cryptocurrency even was, rapper 50 cent took a chance with bitcoin.. And it paid off more than 7 million times over.
According to a report from TMZ, back in 2014, 50 Cent’s album Animal Ambition, valued around $662/bitcoin as a payment for his work. The same bitcoins are worth between $10k and $12k today. 50 Cent pulled in anywhere around $7 to $8.5 million for that album.
