Black Panther’s ticket sales may not be the only magical thing about this blockbuster film.
On a long deleted series of tweets recovered by The Shade Room, it seems the playful banter between the two Black Panther co-stars might have escalated. From a harmless bet on the set of the movie, to antics on a recent MTV show, things may have heated up between the two. Apparently, Michael B. Jordan lost a bet on the set of Black Panther that requires him to drop and give Lupita Nyong’o push ups whenever she requests, especially if he’s wearing bright colored sweaters? Lupita did look amazing in camera so no ones blaming him, but here’s the steamy social media exchange:

From the cast Q&A from the New York City premiere to the live stream on Twitter, Lupita relishes on making Marvel’s new leading man Jordan drop and give her 20. She even recorded her 3rd queenly request for Jordan and hit the floor on her cam for Twitter at the Calvin Klein Fashion show.

Lupita quoted 3 more to go, which is like an epic reference to “slapsgiving” from TV’s, How I Met Your Mother, where characters count out how many public slaps are left. If this video is any indicator, the two are all smile and hugged up during the exchange. For a movie that highlights black love, no one will complain if these two become Black Hollywood’s new ‘It” couple.
Michael B Jordan is definitely looking at Lupita like she is a snack, which may have started from the skin tight outfits that Nyong’o rocked on the set of Black Panther. No one will dispute that she was the epitome of chocolate toned “bae” in this movie release. Either way fans can’t wait for them to hopefully take it from harmless flirting to first base.
