R&B duo Chloe x Halle prepare to debut their new album, and gave fans a chance on what they can expect to hear from the teens’ new effort, being a part of mentor Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records label.
In a press release, the sisters unveiled the track listing for their album debut, with features from GoldLink and Joey Bada$$, along with their Grown-ish theme song, “Grown”. In addition, the 18-track album will also feature the song, “Warrior” from the upcoming movie A Wrinkle in Time.
The Kids Are Alright album comes out March 23, with pre orders starting today, Feb. 23. During the press release, the sisters describe how big of an impact the album had on them. “Our debut album The Kids Are Alright means so much to us”, said Chloe x Halle. “This is three years in the making of self-discovery, vulnerability, and growth, all put into one album. “We’ve put our hearts and souls into every lyric, every beat, and we can’t wait for the world to hear”.
This is the first major album for the Bailey sisters, who shot to fame after doing a song cover of Beyonce’s Pretty Hurts and capturing the attention of Beyonce and her Parkwood Entertainment label back in 2013.
