Rapper Rich the Kid and his girlfriend, Tori Brixx, were robbed and held at gunpoint in their downtown Los Angeles home earlier this month, and now the New York MC is ditching the apartment as a result.
Rich the Kid, who’s formally known as Dimitri Leslie Roger, and Brixx were hospitalized after the brutal attack, and have been unable to sleep ever since.
Reports indicate at least “three masked men” entered the apartment and tried to fight Rich.
According to TMZ, the “eventually pulled out pistols,” and things got physical as they beat both the rapper and his girlfriend.
Neither Brixx nor the rapper have felt comfortable of safe since the invasion, especially because the culprits are still on the loose.
It’s reported that the masked men entered the couple’s residence through the fire escape on the second floor of the building – where the apartment is located – in an effort to avoid security and cameras.
TMZ states the two have now relocated to a mansion in the San Fernando Valley, where things seem much more peaceful – for now.
