Meek Mill Surprises Fans with ‘Legends of Summer’ EP featuring Miguel, Jeremih and More

It has been about 3 months since Meek Mill’s release from prison, due to an unjust hearing for probation violation. The Philadelphia rap star has utilized his platform to address and fight for prison reform. He has publicly stated that he feels an obligation to be a voice for the voiceless. In addition to his fight against this unlawful cause, the “Dreams and Nightmares” emcee has certainly been in the studio since his release.

Meek took the stage to debut his newest single, “Stay Woke,” featuring Miguel at this year’s BET Awards last month. In case you missed it, peep the performance below.

“Stay Woke” tackles the unfair, systemic treatment of African Americans throughout the United States, police brutality, and prison reform.

“How can I pledge allegiance to the flag/when they willing all our sons, all our dads,” he raps on the song.

As the Miguel assisted track to continue to circulate, the MMG rapper returns with a new, 4 song EP entitled, Legends of The Summer.

The EP features some of the game’s best crooners such as Jeremih, PnB Rock, and Miguel. Swizz Beatz also makes a cameo on the EP’s intro as well.

The “Litty Again” rapper decides to share the wealth on the new EP. Three out of the four songs have a featured artist. The Wins & Loses successor will serve as a warm up to what Meek has been cooking up his fans. It is a guarantee that everyone is looking forward to it.

Legends of the Summer is available on Apple Music, Tidal and Spotify now.
