Surf was just getting back to the battle scene having battled The Source Magazine’s unsigned hype Rum Nitty at NOME 8. Rum Nitty sent prayers to his NOME 8 opponent on Instagram.
The SMACK/URL battler was famously affiliated with the Crip gang Rolling 60’s in Newark. Whether or not his gang affiliation had something to do with the shooting is unknown. No suspects have been identified in the shooting. The Source will keep you updated as this story develops.
Prayers up for Tsu Surf!
