Tory Lanez recently celebrated another milestone.
The Toronto rapper earned a gold-certification for his single, “Shooters.” The Recording Industry Association of America, RIAA, affirmed that his single sold more than 500,000 duplicates in the United States. Fargo, who is currently on tour, posted a video revealing that no one thought the single was a hit.
“It’s lit man ‘Shooters’ just went gold, it’s lit you heard,” Tory Lanez said. “Check this sh*t out though. When I put this sh*t out, a lot of people didn’t believe in it because the song was called shooters and blah blah blah. But despite all of that I still push this sh*t. Not only is this sh*t gold going on platinum, but I got a whole Juno off of this motherf***.”
For those of you who are not Canadians, the Juno Award is the Canadian proportionate to the Grammys and Tory Lanez got one of that for the single that he says nobody didn’t have faith in.
Tory Lanez performed in Louisville the previous evening where he brought put Bryson Tiller in front of an audience and the group went wild. Tomorrow night he will perform in Memphis, TN and after that, on Saturday night he will be in Baton Rouge, LA.
